Ewald Rudolph, eldest son of Rudolph and Annie Winkler Heinrich. His early childhood and youth centered around Middle Creek School and St. Mary's Church in High Hill, Texas. On November 16, 1942, Ewald married Margaret Winter, the daughter of Frank and Bertha Holthouse Winter of Jonesboro, Arkansas, at St. Mary's Church in San Antonio, Texas. This was World War II times. Margaret was working as a cashier at National Life and Accident Insurance Company in San Antonio. They had planned to marry at Thanksgiving time, but when Ewald got a draft notice on November 13 to report in ten days, they advanced their wedding date to November 16. Ewald served in the Army 38 months, from November 13, 1942 in January 24, 1946 as Technical Sergeant. He was stationed in Abilene, Texas, Camp Barkeley in Illinois, and at Fort Bragg in Fayetteville, North Carolina, where the family lived from March 1944 to January 24, 1946. After the war, they lived in San Antonio, Texas, where they eventually owned and managed a neighborhood grocery store from 1948 to 1971. Margaret helped in the grocery store and was a housekeeper. Ewald retired in 1971 because he was legally blind. Ewald played the clarinet, sang in church choirs in High Hill and San Antonio, Texas, and was a member of the Sons of Herman. He was talented in repairing things and making furniture. Ewald died of congestive heart failure in a nursing home.

Leo and Rosa lived several years with Leo's parents in Middle Creek, then they set up residence on Black Street in Schulenburg, Fayette County, Texas. Leo's occupations included mechanics and music. he sang in the church choirs of St. Mary's in High Hill and St. Rose's Church in Schulenburg. In the early 1970's, he started his own orchestra featuring modern and western music. The band plays for many functions within a radius of one hundred miles from Schulenburg. He plays the slide trombone in the orchestra.
Annie was housekeeper for the family and was active in church organizations and functions. Sometime after Rudolph died, she lived in a retirement home in Schulenburg until she died.
